This painting was inspired by a beautiful day at Bantham beach in the Winter, as I was on the beach playing with my kids in the rock pools I spotted the surfers heading back from a chilly dip, they were all crossing the river at the same point and it made a great photo. 
I was so inspired I decided to paint the moment.
Winter dips are always so invigorating and warming up afterwards always with a flask of coffee always feels so good.
This painting is acrylic and soft pastel on wooden board. It comes framed in a St Ives style frame, framed professionally at a local framers, Homeframe.
