Inspired by Looe beach, Cornwall.
Painted with palette knife and blending brush. This piece has a lot of beautiful texture to it.
A fellow artist pointed out to me once I had finished painting this piece, how in the sky it looked like there was an angel pouring out light over the ocean. It wasn't intentionally painted to be this way, but once she had pointed it out I couldn't not see it, and I loved it even more. Hence the title of the piece 'Safe At Sea'
